Terms of Use for Sofi AI

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sofi AI tool ("Service") provided by WikiFarmer ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Sofi AI is a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) artificial intelligence application that provides agricultural information and guidance based on WikiFarmer's English library content.

By accessing or using the Service, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Service Description

Sofi AI is designed to help farmers and agricultural professionals find information quickly through natural conversation. The Service utilizes third-party AI technology to process and respond to user queries based on WikiFarmer's proprietary article database. The Service is currently provided free of charge to WikiFarmer subscribers.

3. User Eligibility and Registration

To use the Service, you must be a registered WikiFarmer subscriber. Registration requires providing basic information as specified during the subscription process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Permitted Use and Restrictions

4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service solely for lawful purposes related to agricultural information and guidance. The Service is intended for informational purposes only.

4.2 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or misleading activities
Attempt to circumvent the Service's technical limitations or security measures
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying algorithms
Use the Service to transmit spam, malicious code, or harmful content
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

5.1 Service Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

5.2 Agricultural Advice Disclaimer
The information provided through Sofi AI is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional agricultural advice. Users should consult with qualified agricultural professionals before making farming decisions. We strongly recommend verifying all information with local agricultural extension services or certified agronomists.

5.3 Business Loss Limitation
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY BUSINESS LOSSES, CROP DAMAGES, FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE. This includes but is not limited to:

Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
Crop failure or agricultural losses
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Damages resulting from third-party actions or decisions

5.4 Limitation of Liability
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to such liability. Where the Service is provided free of charge, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your queries and interactions for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

8. Service Modifications and Termination

8.1 Right to Modify
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, SUSPEND, OR DISCONTINUE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE. This includes but is not limited to:

Adding or removing features
Changing the scope of services
Implementing new technical requirements
Modifying the user interface or functionality

8.2 Right to Monetize
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MONETIZE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME BY IMPLEMENTING SUBSCRIPTION FEES, USAGE CHARGES, OR OTHER PRICING MODELS. Users will be provided with reasonable notice of any such changes.

8.3 Termination Rights
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

Violation of these Terms
Suspected illegal or fraudulent activity
Non-payment of applicable fees (if any)
At our sole discretion

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters, pandemics, or acts of God
War, terrorism, or civil disturbances
Government actions or regulatory changes
Internet outages or technical failures
Third-party service disruptions

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WikiFarmer, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Any content you submit through the Service

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the courts of Greece.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
